I lived in some rought areas of Detroit and Brooklyn NY and was a bouncer so yes I've had real fights. My reply to you was civil considering your comment was ill informed. You have no clue if the techinique would work since you've never tried it. I've been doing MAs since 1966 and Wing Chun since 1970 yet I don't criticize other people's martial arts. My MA arts ethics won't allow me to do so. The keyboard warriors have no problem making negative comments though.

@dlvt79 What is it with you internet gangsters? I was a full contact fighter. My students fight full contact. I have many friends who compete. Fighters never trash talk unless they're promoting a fight of course. It's usually non fighting, insecure, disrespectful punks who trash talk. I use my real identity here. My website with all my info is on my channel. You trash talk anonymously. That speaks volumes.

@lopytube The term "Chinese Boxing" refers to all Chinese martial arts. When people saw the term used by Bruce Lee in a movie they assumed it meant a specific art.

@suissecarnifex Each to his own opinion. I prefer the way I learned and teach. If what you do works for you then I'm happy for you. I've been involved in WC since 1970. I chose the style that works for me.

At least i can explain why i feel that something's wrong with your style. What is your explanation? My guess is that your style trys to be more direct and for that it sacrifices the own safety

As i wrote. Then i just don't like this lineage :) For me that's the major difference between sportsfighting like MMA etc. and traditional Martial Arts. Traditional MA try to cover the hole area of non-rule fighting in both defense and offense. That starts with a footwork and stance which will protect me as good as possible while i am attacking.
