Does anyone know who played (Michael - ?) the artist - he is not listed on the IMDB cast list - or where I can see a full cast list? Thanks.

@missblack44 The acting in this film is exceptional. The child's mother is played by one of the Cusack girls, and the story is lovely, happy ending too. Most of these Catherine Cookson's stories can be bought in the shops, or try Play.com, or eBay. I bought mine in the Factory Shop (two for £10)

Carmen Edjoba the Actress who played the Beautiful grown up Rosangela is wonderful ,
the part was made foe her. I have never seen her in any thing else, its a shame, because I think she is so damn good looking and talented!
I see Art malik went on to be famous though!
