General Hospital - 1986 - Pt 27 Alan/Monica/Sean/Tiff/Simon

Part 27. The crowd at the Brownstone talk about the Quartermaines. they wonder why Anna wanted to question Lila. The search for Alan continues but still no sign of him. Anna insists they continue the search. Bert reads the lab report and says they found pottery shards in the fuel tank. Anna starts to believe the crash might be murder or suicide. Anna wants to talk to Monica about it. She starts to worry that people may blame Sean if Monica is involved in a murder. Edward walks into the living room and sees the food from the Brownstone crowd. Lila is angry that she has to continue the charade while Edward happily eats. Edward says his plans will bring Monica and Alan back together. Jimmy Lee reports to Edward that their scheme is working like a charm. Meanwhile, Alan/Simon has enjoyed his dinner with Charity and her son. He agrees to stay and work for room and board. He admits to Charity that Simon isn't his name...he doesn't know what his name is. He has amnesia.

Goes to show you that this stuff mirrors society...Current popular culture has deemed things like women's liberation/advancement as being passe while shamefully trying to sell "slut" thing as being the equal of sexual empowerment...It's sad.

Isn't it ironic that in the 80s, Port Charles had intelligent, competent, capable career women who worked on the same level as their male counterparts (Anna Devane in particular) and in the 21st century, there's nothing but sluts, whores, mob molls and victims. Kind of a huge step backwards for womenkind isn't it?

1. A barbecue sounds like fun right about now.

2. Robin's drawings take up most of Anna's bulletin board (just noticed)

3. That expression, "You're cute when you're angry"? Had to have been written for Anna Lee.

4. Money isn't everything, especially when Jonah's offering TWO pieces.

5. Apparently, living with strangers can trigger one's memory.

I must say, Alan sure does have away with children. That little boy just met Alan and he already don't want him to leave.
