Ron Paul Blimp Footage

Some short clips of the Ron Paul Blimp flying over Celebration, Florida on December 30, 2007. Apologies for the shakiness - we had trouble trying to get ahead of the blimp and find a good spot to film. Hopefully we'll get some better footage on January 1st. Sorry for the lack of sound. Everyone in the car was too noisy to include it :)

Today I had good luck following it down I-4 and in the last two segments of the video, that's the blimp flying down I-4 towards the landing site.

In the next-to-last clip it's directly overhead, and you can see how awesome it is. I was amazed that it was low enough to just make out the roar of the fans over our tires on the pavement at 65mph with the windows up.

Looks like only 1 side of the blimp has a sign. IS it a safety issue to have a sign on both sides?

No, both sides have signs. One side has the rEVOLution, the other has "Who is Ron Paul? " It just happened that as we were following it, we got mostly the right side. The last part of the video just has the sun reflecting off if combined with the crappy YouTube encoding. At 1:22, you can just start to see the other side's letters. I have more/better video footage coming.

Yayyyyy...Get that thing down to Ft. Lauderdale, my sis wants to see it! Update the site too!!! The Blimp info page sucks!! I have yet to see the live feed. They do not respond to my email either. WTF?
