It is amazing the comments you get here on Youtube. "Baskerville22" expects a typical, predictable happy Hollywood ending to the movie, and since it doesn't follow the scenario he thinks appropriate, he deems it as being part of a left-wing conspiracy. Good grief. If he thinks hard enough, he should be able to come of with some more theories about the train, the clock, the name "Will Kane", etc., etc. Sometimes a movie is just a movie.

In some ways, a great film, but spoiled by the Leftist smear (thank Commo script-writers) that in America friendship counts for nothing when there's trouble. Who can believe that Will Kane's lifelong friends in Hadleyville would run & hide when 3 criminals come looking to kill him. It takes a convinced hater of freedom and decency to think such an absurdity.

LOL! Ok, I'll give it a shot. It's about doing the right thing, standing by your convictions when everything and everyone is against you. It's about having the courage to stand up for what believe is right and good when no one will do the same. It's about facing fear and standing your ground.

Yeah, I think that works. :)

High noon es muy buen western pero hay otros tan buenos o mejores que éste, por ejemplo: The man who killed Liberty Valence. en sus comentarios o exageran o son unos snobs.

Of course Wayne hated it. Wayne was a talentless prick, so he was destined to abhor anything that in any way had the touch of quality about it. Can anything more eloquently attest to the enduring brilliance of this cinematic work of art than Wayne's disapproval? Wayne was faecal matter in human form.
