In an obscure little Kannada speaking village at the Kerala - Karnataka border, called Perla, a courageous and dedicated young man called Shri Yogesh Sharma has been single handedly working towards bringing good music to the local populace. He runs a music school called Veena Vadini where students of all ages come and learn music. I had the pleasure of teaching there a few times and filmed this myself after I taught them Seetha Kalyana Vaibhogame. Genuine music lovers are welcome to check this place out for themselves and witness the good work done there. I feel these good people deserve all the help and encouragement they can get, be it artistic or financial. Meanwhile, enjoy Seetha Kalyana Vaibhogamey.

  • How can one help?

  • They just acquired some land for a school building. (Right now the classes are conducted in a private house, on the first floor) They need around 3.5 million Indian Rupees for the building for example, which is the most obvious area of help needed.

  • Anything and Something should do some help for this great work done by Mr.Sharma. This should go on, please send Bank details!!! Thanks

  • Such a fine chorus ! I am amazed how finely they sing.. You are a great teacher, Sir.. Apart from doing justice to Tyagaraja's composition, you are also popularizing it.

  • 25501 Rs from us, its our duty to give our children a chance to appreciate the great Indian Cultural heritage. With the burning down of the Nalanda university we have lost all documented evidence of every Hindu ritual so much so that we have ourselves started doubting the fundamental truth "the ananda vigraha". This song is a all time classic. One has to remember that our ancestors have done all the research and have left us with the nectar not for us to say "what was ok in ur time aint in ours"

  • so nice to listen!

  • Great

  • Very true!

  • Awesome. God bless you all

  • clap clap clap !!!

  • No doubt, future of music is safe.

All of them are promising that.

    Fantastic.

    GOD BLESS ALL.
