  • Dear Labelle Deesse,

Any member of your community in Paris, France? There's a whole generation ready here. Whether Haitians, Whites, Latins, Spanish, Africans.

We beat our drums in the streets of Paris, we can feel the spirits calling but we have no further ideas... Ayibobo! God bless!!!

Mrs. Dereale, as a Protestant, namely Pentecostal, I must tell you that I have a lot of respect for you and your team. I want to encourage you to continue to educate Haitians and others about Vodou; and the role that it has played in Haitian history, culture, and society. Your videos are fantastic, by the way. In addition, I am a doctoral student at Columbia who is doing research for my dissertation on the theological intersection between Haitian Vodou and Pentecostalism.

  • I think it's important to make it clear that Vodou should never be used as a means to hurt each other. By the way, Christianity has also been used to oppress human beings. White Europeans and Americans have also used Christianity to enslave and exploit humans, in particular persons of African descent. In any event continue to keep the faith alive, my sister. We are all ONE--Created in the image of God. Much Love and Respect!

  • While we are writing about and promoting Haitian Vodou, the goal should not be to make it become a religion like other religions such as Christianity. Vodou's objective should be higher than that. Its aim should be to affirm, respect, honor, and fight for the humanity and dignity of all human beings. In addition, we have to be honest about and denounce how many of our brothers and sisters have used and exploited Vodou to harm God's children.

  • What is WRONG with belle deesee Jr ???? WE DO NOT NEED VODOU TO BECOME A WRITING RELIGION LIKE THE OTHERS.......THE ORAL TRADITION IS BEST AND SAFER FOR US . u peoples are upsetting me sometimes .

  • she's beautiful
