While we are writing about and promoting Haitian Vodou, the goal should not be to make it become a religion like other religions such as Christianity. Vodou's objective should be higher than that. Its aim should be to affirm, respect, honor, and fight for the humanity and dignity of all human beings. In addition, we have to be honest about and denounce how many of our brothers and sisters have used and exploited Vodou to harm God's children.
