One night at a bar, an old friend tells director Ari about a recurring nightmare in which he is chased by 26 vicious dogs. Every night, the same number of beasts. The two men conclude that theres a connection to their Israeli Army mission in the first Lebanon War of the early eighties. Ari is surprised that he cant remember a thing anymore about that period of his life. Intrigued by this riddle, he decides to meet and
interview old friends and comrades around the world. He needs to discover the truth about that time and about himself. As Ari delves deeper and deeper into the mystery, his memory begins to creep up in surreal images

I love this film, only problem is every youtube video has attracted a bunch of dicks that couldn't have missed the point more.
Ari Folman isn't making a statement about the 1982 war, rather, the atrocities that happened that made him want to forget it all in the first place.
Killing is killing, doesn't matter who fires the bullet and who the war is between, it's still wrong and in every war both sides always commit wrongful acts.
Enjoy the film for what it is, and remember those who died

Saw this film last night, easily one of the best and most intriguing I've seen all year.
