Some people feel as if love is weakness,( or at least showing love). Love is vulnerability, not weakness. In an effort not to appear weak, many men act hard. They realy don't want people to know just how human they really are. So they walk around "fronting" trying to hide their true selves "walling" out their humanity. Its' rooted in fear; fear that they will be seen as weak. Manhood has been misidentified.

There are lies that boys are told; that "men" are not supposed to cry. To not show emotions. "The Lie" is told to them by adult (typically) men. The father that says to his 5 year old boy that he is a "man", and don't act like a girl simply because the boy is upset and crying. Don't show any emotions. Its' probably the number 1 thing that damages males emotionally. It will manifest itself in his relationships and sabotage his view of life

Nice video! What do you think would be the consequence of living in a Matriarchal society versus a Patriarchal one?

@1800homohotline Well i don't really know how that would manifest but i know something has to be better than the state that we live in now...however i don't believe there should be a unilateral approach to society it should be based on a mutual footing that allows for non-dominating or gendered tasks and roles
