  • Who are you? Where are you? Would you like to join our association? You stay down well on ball call. Tuck in those elbows, they're pretty exposed flared out like that. Try to coordinate your verbal with your signal (timing on signal is very good, verbal is quick). When catcher sets up outside are you moving out as well? Does that not slide your strike zone outside? Plate doesn't move out, you shouldn't either. Good basics, keep working and improving.

  • slpcoach, I live in Festus, just south of St. Louis, MO. Where are you, and what is your association? What schools or conferences do you cover? I have been working college games for the last four years, NAIA, NCAA III, and NCAA II.

  • Great video. Ump looks and sounds good.

  • I am in California and hoping you are having a good season. Tell all I say hello. Stuart

  • I'm up in Minneapolis. Prior to that I spent years in Florida working SEC games, JUCO, and I spent two years in pro ball after attending Brinkman's school in 1984. You look good. Keep learning, we never know it all.
