My newest aquisition to my United Cutlery LOTR replica collection :)
These High Elven Helms are incredibly rare, only 5000 were made, and they are stunning.
The certificate is hand signed by John Howe, world renowned Tolkien illustrator and WETA production artist. Each helmet has it's own production number, this one is 199/5000 and has a brass plate inside the helmet to authenticate it. It is made from fiberglass re-enforced resin, and is leather lined making it fully wearable.

  • Why does it say Made in China??

  • @kostasviper Logic would suggest that it's because it WAS made in China

  • @phantomphreaq Nice answer there smartass.. Too bad you don't seem to be able to grasp the logic behind a "rhetorical" question.... The helm is still cool though..

  • @kostasviper I totally get the 'rhetorical' question. You don't seem to grasp sarcasm. Rhetorical questions are pointless when you already know the answer before asking. So why bother asking the question in the first place if you weren't expecting a sarcastic answer?

Anyways, let's not argue here, there's already way too much of that on youtube :) And yes, the helm is cool, glad i fanally got one :)

  • @phantomphreaq What does it feel like when you touch it on the outside? Can you tell what it is made off, or does it fool you? Cause it looks the part, it would be a shame if it felt really fragile...

  • @kostasviper No it's proper solid. It's actually pretty heavy. It's made from a mixture of resin and fibreglass I think. It looks like the sidewalls are as thin and fragile as an egg shell, but they're actually quite thick. If anything was to break it'd be the main spike on top. The first inch or two of the spike would be quite easy to snap given some force. It would definitley go if (God forbid) the helm was dropped.
