The 2008 Central Islip High School Concert Choir sings (for the very last time) FA UNA CANZONA by Orazio Vecchi, in the round for their audience as an encore. The choir had just finished singing The Lord Bless You and Keep You which completed our final concert in Italy.

  • i did this for contest last year! great job!

  • Ok...I lied...this is the most moving version of Fa una Canzona now I've heard on youtube. I just love how balanced you were and how you embraced the space with your sound and position. Beautiful!

  • I'm so happy... this reminds me of my high school experience. You had a small audition group which was part of the larger group? You can hear the joy.

  • yall have great diction and well blended. teveyone in the choir seems very interested. i wish i was involved in a choir who was very involved in choir music and everything else around it..but very nice job!!

  • very nice, i love this song

  • i sang this song with my choir when i went to italy, too. this is the best choir i've heard so far sing this song.

  • Wow! This brings me back to the choir room, big time.

What an incredible experience this must have been for your group, John. The videos have been amazing. Thanks so much for sharing the snapshots of the performances and travels.
