Shooting the Lee Enfield Rifle No 4 MK1

We took a friday to go shoot some of our WWII and WWI rifles. This video shows us shooting the Lee Enfield No. 4 MK1 from 1943. The gun was refinished. This gun shoots the .303 British. Which was used during WW2. I picked up this Rifle for $250 and in my opinion is a great rifle. Discovery Channel Ranked this as number 4 on the all time greatest battle rifles.

Just to point out. British soldiers were trained to pull the bolt back whilst still looking down the sights, this way you don't have to take your eye off the target.

I have a 1945 No.4 Mk.1 Longbranch Enfield. It's the Canadian Version of the Lee Enfield. Still basically the same gun. 10 round drop mag + 1 in the chamber is 11. Got a safety on it that makes the bolt lock down & makes the trigger dead.

Has a 300 & 600 yard Peep Hole Sight on it, that flips back & forth...

Over all, it's an EXCELLENT gun!!! Very accurate, smooth action provides fast follow up shots...

I recommend everyone go out & get one...
