Short video of me walking around Whitelee windfarm in central Scotland. The site has 140 turbines which can generate 322MW of electricity. That's enough to power 180,000 homes. I take a wander round and look at one of the turbines up close.
The quaility of the camera is excellent and £40 a bargin indeed,i paid much more for my HD camera, and it looks equally as good, lucky you for spotting a bargain.
cool stuff. they built about 10 of these a few years ago in buffalo by me. ours look just like these and are practically downtown. really wild to see when your driving into the city. I think they're supposed to building more soon. such a great clean source of energy
@RetroGameTech That is a bargain. Only just a few weeks ago I saw the (older?) Flip Ultra HD in Currys for around £159. I ended up buying one myself from Argos for £124.
@xTHExSTIGx Cheers!. It's a Flip Mino HD 4GB. Picked it up for £40 in Currys on clearance. Total bargain!. I'm pretty happy with it. Will do a mini review on it soon I think. Sadly no image stabilisation or macro function but I'd still definitely recommend it.
actually, i fitted the steps onsite for this turbine :) nice to see its still there.. ;)
