@clumpft well said bro. Well said. Women don't want to admit any of this because they are too busy being the damsel in distress and trying to seek help and protection from men. Often they don't have the balls to accept they aren't always the poor little girl getting treated badly, even when they are behaving in appalling ways. A lot of women behave around men and the courts and society in general the way a child behaves around its parents. Men are on their own, and don't have this luxury.

@boobootoob Hey FUCK YOU for calling me a misogynist. I don't hate women. My point is there are plenty of stories about men being verbally, psychologically, emotionally, and physically abused by their female partners that don't get heard. And actually violence per se against men by other men is higher than the rates of female victims of domestic violence. In Australia, you don't have the social services that support men in these incidents, which isn't just bad for men but society as a whole.

@clumpft the issues arise with MURDER RATES and DEAD WOMEN don't have to report, others do that for them, being as they are DEAD. So you misogynists who like to otherize women and lump them all together for sexist reasons but bitch when they band together to help themselves cannot lie about who has the worse end of the violence. Dead bodies don't lie. Where are all the DEAD MEN at the hands of their partners? The rates are at least three to one, and that is a generous estimate.

@clumpft While it is true that violence against men is on the rise and unreported, it is also true that most cases of violence against women are too unreported (approx. 60%)...so both numbers would go up. BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY...why is it a contest? Why is that this account of violence against women facilitate a "one upmanship" response. Violence is unacceptable regardless of who perpetrates it, or who is victimized.

this is a song for women and it supports you guys.. tell me what you think.... type in Fe'La iniko.... (I Am A WOman)
Real men protect women and children. But when they don't and we throw them in jail, women must follow up their case and press charges against these creeps. If they decline to do so, like so often the case, slapping handcuffs on these bums are a colossal waste of time and extremely dangerous for her. If they commit an act of violence against you once, they will do it again. Count on it!

All we ever hear about is violence against women. The pendulum has swung to far in favour of womens rights and the common misconception these days, is that women are the victims in nearly all domestic violence cases. Firstly, there are way more reported cases of men being the victims than womens groups would want to admit, secondly, many male victims DON'T report their partners, out of shame (this would push the stats up even higher)
