IITA designed a manual cassava chipper to efficiently process fresh cassava tubers into chips. These chips are solar dried and can be easily stored and transported to urban markets. The chips are milled into flower which can be used as a substitute for imported wheat flower in bread.

I love cassava cake. In the Philippines, we make it with fresh grated cassava, sugar and coconut milk.

Thank you sir. Bring us more of your machine. Teach us more. I believe one day with all the streams and rivers around this could be done with Mechanical or electrical energy. Where did this take place??
