There are buyable weapons and upgrades to help while you race, but the best strategy is to stay back a bit until the end, and only then try to get to the front. Staying at the front for most of the race means you can't see what's coming!

I used to play this all the time round my mates, multiplayer was great. Best way to do it was to discard of the black car first which normally took a few rounds. Brilliant fun though.

What a loveable game! I like the idea of racing little cars in different sets of environments. Being able to jump over obstacles to avoid getting crushed by the screen is a nice concept, and the way they enlargen while doing so made me consider Super Pac-Man a bit. Considering the possible difficulty, is it possible to win the races with a strategy? The theme song is very enjoyable too; I kinda feel like singing along with it.
