  • Yeah, sorry. I saw that at the end and spoke too soon. Glad your out there having a good time out there looking for it. I just started doing this last year so I'm a newbie. I have about a 1/4 ounce from about 25 trips. Ha. I'm not gonna get rich at it but it sure is fun. Some days you go out and do good and some days bad but it's always fun.

  • I've been there it's too weak on every pan I'll go much better places like Australia.

  • im going to sluice up some of east fork this weekend, but i've been going to lytle creek and finding gold flake and dust w/o a dredge. just a shovel and sluice, then i take the concentrates home for final cleanup.

  • Gold fever! Try warping the magnet in a plastic bag to keep the iron off the magnet. I shoveled many tons of rock and sand in the San Gabriel mountains, I used to pan in the East Fork when I lived in Azusa.

  • NAW thats not gold .... but just to me sure you should mail it to me so i can check .... lol jk yer gold dude

  • check on ebay if you want to get a cheap sluice, the better you get at finding gold the more you will find.

  • Yeah, give it up! not doing good, and leave it to me. if everybody stoped looking, maybe i can find more. lol

J/K Dude, beleave me, you did a great job your first time out. Impressed that you found so much. Great Job...

You must have gone up passed the metal bridge, way at the end. and hiked way down to the river.

  • keep up the good work man the more you go out the more you will learn to bad you don't live in Colorado ... i would take you out prospecting ... have fun and may your gold pan always be full of gold!!!!
