  • Update on the snow blower with the powermore chinese engine. After checking through many repair centers I have found that this machine is no good. Parts are not readily stocked and if you only need a carb rebuilt kit your going to have to purchase a whole new carb instead. So I returned it and bought a single stage snapper with the B&S 9HP engine. This machine throws snow twice as far as the Yard machine and parts are availablef for it. I paid roughly 2 as much for it tough but its usa made.

ok, thanks for the information. Sadily i did not buy this machine so i cant return it.

You have made a good choice though!!!

Yea this engine is starting to do the same thing my Troy Built did..run rough so im not too pleased.

i do have a 1 yr warentee on it.

    Thanks for the update

  • I just picked up the same model snowblower and I think it is very powerful compared to my old toro 2 stroke. This thing does not bogg down one bit with a foot of snow and even the heavy -slush stuff is a cinch for it at the end of the driveway. The powermore chinese made engine is new to me just hoping there is parts & service manuals to be had.

  • @valdi9165

i Totally agree with you there. It is very powerful after moving from my old 3hp 2 cycle craftsman.

but i had a 208cc powermore troy built for a week and it never ran right. I liked the design of the troy built better than this. Taller handle and padded and had more power.

But this has been good so far. The scraper bar is worn down quite a bit on the bottom already though.

  • I bet CW would like one that starts like yours...haha!!!

He couldn't even get his one to start in the summer!

He then left it outside...Then expected it to start...I knew it wouldn't!

Poor old CW's having a bad week though...You should go and help him!

Oi...Mind the camera!!! You're getting snow all over my desk...haha!!!

You're doing a Great Job Mike!!! Keep it up!!! :)

  • @88GTi
