  • i love spokane. i was born at deaconess. i was born here, ill die here, ill be buried here! there's so much history here! i mean we're widely considered to be a very sucessful mining operation, and we had a worlds fair. i mean, come on! i love this place. hey hisrin where you live? i live near where theyre building the new north corridor highway on south hill.

  • @syren345 Agreed! there are so many fascinating buildings here, too. My boyfriend grew up in Omak - he doesn't like Spokane that much - but my whole family grew up here and there's so many amazing buildings here. I like out in Otis Orchards now by the Idaho border, but I grew up in Spokane Valley. :)

  • What about the Rendering plant, Gangs, Transportation joke and all the fun getting shut down in the snow. THis city is the definition of loving itself. It is East Tacoma.

  • @Ellercorupt101 Transportation? I have to take the bus from Otis Orchards to Cheney to get to school and work and although it takes a while, it has been dependable. I mean, what do I expect, to get there in 45 minutes like when I drive? As for the city getting shut down, that was for everyone's safety. The roads were awful, the snow was too deep and based on how the freeways were constantly being clogged BEFORE the heavy snow, the city felt it would be wiser to simply close it down.

  • Craig McIntyre lives here!!

  • @CLIK90 Who is that?

  • For Seventh years Spokane was my home, I enjoy the city so much..... Thank you for this

    beautiful pictures ....

  • I'm from NJ, I'd stay in Spokane for 3 days, it was a rainy week, but the days I could, I'd walked on downtown, I loved the buildings architecture, they are all linked one to another, I visited the mall, good food (not much options at the mall) but it was good, the downtown area is so clean, broad avenues and streets...

Outside downtown the city needs more investments on real estate, houses are to old fashioned, but it didn't take the charm of the city..

    I really loved been here..

  • that's my birth place

  • @danganbeg ...no.

  • Just reading about Spokane on the BBC website. Seems it is full of white protestants full of hatred

  • atleast this video doesn't show Hillard

  • Pretty cool pictures, I've been to an "estimated" 20 different countries and anywhere else in the states that compare to Spokane... I still choose Spokane

It's such a great city, its a small town vs big town combined to make a great city.

  • regardless of all the hype, and the propaganda..Spokane is a great and humbnle community and is a fabulous place to live. the joys of surrounding nature and a taste of the city all in one neat little package. Still the country's final frontier, and a source of many great actors, comedians, and more....

  • I live in Spokane :)
