  • do they have four seats in old dbs

  • @rs200000000000 Yep they have 4 seats its just they are very squished in the back like most aston martins to date

  • Sorry, this car is not a DBS, but an Aston Martin Vantage. The DBS cars all had 4 headlamps, and a different grille.

    Interesting car, though...

  • emm no your wrong, vantages dont have a hood scoop facing forwards and the back is lower on this car than a vantage, a vantage has a huge hood bump, and no not all DBS have four lights some have two or some have lights like this, so clearly come back when you know a little more about aston martin!!!

  • so i saw this yesterday, read up on it, its actually a vantage, one of only 71 ever made, it came before the v8 vantage, and has a l6 engine

  • Smashing video, love the combo with the Quattroporte!!

  • one of the most beautiful cars ever made!!

  • .. actually reading over your comment again, I think I may actually be agreeing with you. (assuming you're not implying the car is a V8 which I'm convinced its not)

Anyway on slightly different point I think you've been a little mean to 'wheelsoffury' whom I gather is a sproglet, if it's his voice at the end of the vid.

He's just admiring cars we're lucky enough to own and that should be encouraged and enjoyed. To much to ask you take back some words? :)

  • With due respect I think you are wrong. I am an owner of a 1973 V8 and the engine note is almost definitely 6-cylinder (it sounds nothing like my V8).

It's definitely an early 70s car (no duck tail) and then you have the wired wheels which were trademark 6-cylinder.

Think this might have been one of the in-betweens where the chassis was updated but not yet the engine, which Aston did a lot throughout the years.

V8 "Vantage" it definitely is not.
