Prior to Salazar's good deed he was at Democrat rally in Delta. His wife & aids were taking videos there (to set the record straight). Candidates were on way to Durango for next rally when incident happened. Get truckers logo off cab of truck from video to verify Salazar's good Samaritan actions. The trucker owes Salazar a vote and/or a kudos. I'm a retired trucker & would give him my vote regardless of party affiliations. The world needs more good Samaritans like him!

For the doubters: There is video of this because Congressman Salazar and his staff had a video camera with them, as all political campaigns do in today's instant information age...just for opportunities just like this....

Smart old Colorado rancher that knows his way around the mountains, knows how to pull a tractor-trailer out of a ditch, in a blizzard, in the Rockies....You just can't make something like that up...or even think about staging it... yeah John!

When I read that he pulled a flatbed out of the snow with a Buick SUV I assumed that it was a little straight truck. To pull a tractor-semitrailer out is impressive, even if it wasn't loaded. Kudos to Mr. Salazar for getting the job done.
