Illinois Senator Dick Durbin refused to hold a townhall meeting to discuss the Healthcare reform bill H.R. 3200, so a local radio station held one for him outside of his office in the Federal Plaza in downtown Chicago. @oldstyle1957Because the wealthy Canadians that can afford it dont have to wait as long between non-life threatening visits.However many Americans can't afford to get any treatment.If you're rich and you agree to switching to a single payer system, you might have slightly longer waits.BUT most of Canada's healthcare problem result from the fact that Canada is much poorer than the U.S. to begin with. Experts dont see America having the same problems. The sick need medicine as much as sympathy.

They don't it's propaganda you know the commercials you see for health insurance on TV those as paid for by none other than them same people. These same companies just so happen to put it EVERYWHERE. It makes me laugh when these companies show them caring for patients and talk about care then I hear thousands of stories where they denied people who needed life saving treatments and had been paying them for years. If I had the money I would leave this country to get health care.

I have met alot of people VISITING from Canada who said they would fight and die for their health care system. I say YES THEY HAVE BEEN PRAISING THEIR SYSTEM. Steven Crowder needs to go a day in the life of someone WITHOUT health care and BE SICK those days without health care so he can die. Then maybe people will wake up and realize that we need a public option for families who are already struggling to survive because of the republican and democrat plans put into place for DECADES.
