St. Louis Cardinals Storm - Trash Can Takeout

There was a HUGE storm that past through St. Tuesday, July 18 with 90+ mph winds. Unfortuanately, thousands of Cardinals fans were outside at the game, but many took shelter from the storm under the bleachers. One fan, was not so lucky, but what tackled by Offensive Lineman "Trashcan".

"Wow" is all that one can really say, after watching this. I can't believe I had never seen/heard of this particular game, until now. That is, far and away, *the* most violent weather I've ever seen at a baseball game, on TV, on home video, or in person. From what I understand, they actually went on to later finish the game against the Braves that evening!

I remeber this day. I was over in Granite City playing baseball for my rec leauge team and I remeber this so clearly, it was like everything stopped for a second, the wind, the air nothing was moving, half of the sky was already dark, the other half was clear then suddnelt starts pouring out of nowhere, lighting hail, wind was crazy.
