cutting fruit with a "fake" display katana doesn't seem like a good idea man. Those blades are known to fly out of the hilt and turn into a ballistic knife.

@aznricecannon thanks for looking out for me but its not some dodgy 100 dollar display sword with acid etched hamon and tiny tang. Its a half tang sword (blade extends past hilt half way into the handle) with authentic oil tempered hamon. The weight isnt balanced perfectly i admit as it IS primarily a display katana but the sword is more than capable of slicing Bamboo and random objects without flying into someones face. It's one of the gazzillion swords made in Toledo Spain.
