How do attach the dress form to the stand? Thanks for the great video!

Best how to do a dress form video I have seen- I'm going to make mine later today :D

@vintagegarbage okay thank u so much! And I'm only doing one layer of tape and one layer of paper mâché and I hope that keeps it sturdy enough. But thanks again for the help and great video btw! :D

This is just the best how-to video I've seen. I had so much fun watching it! Thank you by the way. Also if you wanted a better insulating foam I found another video that used "Great Stuff" Foam insulating sealant and instructed on how to fill the form with it. Just in case you wanted to make another for a friend or whatever. ^^

I'll refer you to this previous comment reply:
If you try the insulating foam, that will stick to the stand and newspaper/form. Other than that, I think mine is pretty much held up by the duct tape around the neck and bottom holes that attach it to the stand.

Can you show how you made the stand...I'm so glad I searched this topic on Youtube.

@TheGpmdesigns It's just a 2"x2" piece of wood screwed into a 2" thick, 10"x10" piece of wood. Drill two holes in the base, screw into pole.

@vintagegarbage thanks! And how long did it take you to tape up your whole body?? Because I have a about 2 hours a day to do this at school

@bornthisway171 You should be able to do the actual taping in two hours, if you have your shirt/dress ready (ie. if you have to extend the shirt with fabric like we did, do that in advance).
Learn from our mistakes; regarding my arms going numb! LOL Do the body (both layers) first, and then do the arms and neck last, for the sake of your model. Those are the areas which she'll want to have covered the least amount of time.
