I'd choose a nle system based on the type of video projects you're doing. I use a lot of other adobe software in my projects so I like premier because they work well together

yeah, but final cut pro is too heavy and slow. i use it and i want to try something new and intuitive. and i did use after effects in school. is not that bad. and premiere was intimidating. i had it for i pc running windows xp.

I used to use Final Cut Pro, switched from Mac to PC. Effects are After Effects, and timeline stuff is normally Vegas Video.
