  • XBR with the odd numbers like 3,5,7,9 were always the best

  • why spend 2000$ on a tv and use the built in speakers lol ....most people have home theater systems

  • XBR9 is like the updated version of XBR6. So XBR7 and XBR8 are better than XBR6 and 9's... I know it doesn't make sense but this is how it is...

  • I believe it's to cut cost since it's expensive to implement.

  • For such a professional looking video the speaker sure sounds amateur. Kind of odd.

  • Each backlighting system has different costs and benefits. The Triluminos system is a more expensive system to build than the wide color gamut CCFL used in the XBR9. Both sets are currently available and fill different needs along the picture quality scale.

  • So how come the newest XBR9 and Z-Series don't have LED backlighting?
