Dimi Angelis & Jeroen Search - Our Live With The Wave

Hamburg's Smallville Records add to their understated yet highly valued catalogue with two smartly varied cuts from some of the European underground's most respected producers. A-side duties are given to the prolific duo of Dimitri Angelis & Jeroen Search, two Dutch producers with a very strong history of techno killers for a huge list of labels including Len Faki's Figure, Kombination Research and Axis sublabel 6277. On 'Our Life With The Wave' they borrow elements from Mike Huckaby's lauded Waldorf Wave Sampler CD and coax them into hypnotically spaced out shapes over a well toned and insistent technohouse pulse. On the flip Berlin's Lowtec follows his great releases on Workshop with an ode to the meandyou. clubnight, crafting a dirty-slow house groove with Chicago-via-Berlin-via-Manchester styled synths. Very cool indeed.
