This track was composed on the Amiga 500, converted to MIDI on a 1200, then compiled via an Athlon 2.4 Ghz PC running Samplitude 10; the latter machine is equipped with the M-Audio Delta 66 and Sound Blaster Live sound units.

Outboard equipment used for the recording included the Soundcraft M8 mixer, Focusrite Platinum Penta compressor and Behringer Tube Ultra Q equaliser with valve-presence controls.

  • Geez.. seeing the Amiga brings back the good 'ol memories. OctaMED was the sequencer I used (I know, I know.. SoundTracker was the best). I had a sampler too but can't remember the name of it, a small cream box that plugged into the parallel port and had just 1 3.5mm jack socket for mic. Parents bought me it for Xmas one year, cost £49.99 (a lot then) and I hardly used it :(

I use WinUAE now on PC to emulate the classics, GODS, Soccer KId, Monkey Island series, Simon The Sorcerer and DiscWorld.
