@chargerondavins I read more about the register thing. Turns out the school he went to was not Muslim in the sense that it taught Islam, but that the student population was mostly muslim.

@86THECRITIC he was registered in a few villiages that required registration in order to be there - to your point - if he HADN'T put muslim it would have put him at a disadvantage - but selling out on your "faith" is pretty stupid. Additionally, your athiest friend going to catholic school wouldnt fly if they knew it and it's a pretty BS story to begin with. Perhaps he says that to save face - perhaps he's just an idiot.

@chargerondavins He did not register as a Muslim either. He just attended a Muslim school. Which, in itself doesn't mean he was a Muslim, because I have an atheist friend that goes to a catholic school.

@chargerondavins If you would simply read the script, you would realize he was referring back to a statement made by McCain. Go to snopes, they look at this exact video on here. That last sentence was a straightforward statement: Senator Obama was not proclaiming his "Muslim faith"; he was acknowledging that Republican nominee John McCain had not specifically promulgated the false rumor that he (Obama) was a Muslim.

@86THECRITIC again, your ignorance and hypocrisy shine through: I have no problem with muslims, but a problem with commander and chief lying. It's not out of context at all, he slips up, even if he didn't mean it. There are many more supporting factors that lead people to believe that Obama is indeed a muslim. He registered in Kenya as one as a child. I don't care, but don't play the jackass card, the ignorant card, etc. It's just transparent, stupid, and ignorant in itself.
