  • How are the hinges? I've had quite some trouble with older models of acer laptops where the housing would break at the hinges after a few months.

  • They feel fine to me. Ofcourse it isn't Thinkpad quality, but good enough. Also check my video: build quality.

  • I've uploaded a higher quality video, check my videos to see it.

  • why don't you take the stupid protective layer off? having sticker isn't cool. it's like wearing clothing with stickers

  • My unit had some errors in the paintwork, I need to send it back to my supplier. That's why I did not want to take of the stickers. By the way, I was wrong about the the protective layer in front of the screen, there was none.

  • how many gigabites of ram does this computer have.

  • I recently bought mine N550 duo core netbook it fast considering it a netbook with duo core 1.5 ghz.

  • OMFG DUDE I LOVE YOUR ACCENT :)

  • @lonelyday91 Sure, but be wary that you will need a mouse. Although it works but on 3D it requires a little patience when it comes to refreshing. I expected that and I dont mind that. I ran AC 2010 on it.

  • @deaftodd thank you very much for the info. that what i am searching for

  • I ran my autocad 2010 on it and it worked like charm

  • you can change the settings.. The reason for this behaviour is so that you don't click somewhere during touch typing.

  • It's got a core 2 solo, not duo.

The 1810TZ features the su4100 which has the duo.

  • I think that's a mouse setting in the control panel, it's designed to prevent you from accidentally rubbing and moving the mouse with your palm as you type.

  • I believe the T model comes with BT standard, TZ doesn't.
