good luck. i just got from training and let me tell you this. its nothing like what the video shows. atleast its not as cool as it looks. but its very challenging mentally and physically. i hated every second until the day i graduated and had my drill sgt pin the castle on my collar. 21B one of the most hard core jobs in Army, all the old 21Bravos i know have bad backs ,knees some are Sappers and all know how to make a bomb

You don't any math in Basic/AIT at all but you'll have to learn a few equations when you get to your unit. The really "tough" ones will more or less done by your PL or CO in the real life but its good to know em.

Im a 21b formally 12b and im in baghdad right now , a 21b can disarm ied's There are two courses you have to take in country though and sappers can disarm too ..Not trying to prove you wrong but you were obviously misinformed.
