  • i remember watching a special on the kennedy assasination, and they showed you playing your kit--and the sound of the kit, and the setup reminded me of Carl. I think you were mentioning the audio recordings of the open-mic on the cycle cop's radio........

  • @firefighterpaulie So, you're the one who watched the program! Incredible1 Yea, I was the one who found the voice of sheriff Decker, buried beneath the motorcycle noise, which turned out to discredit the scientists who said there were gunshots on the dictabelt. Man... the crap I have taken over it, by the conspiracy buffs, too. Wow! Everyone needs to watch your video of you doing your song,"Pirouette" Firefighterpaulie! Excellent. EXCELLENT song and performance!

  • were you on a pbs special years ago???????????

  • @firefighterpaulie LOL! Yes, I was, actually. How in the world did you remember this? That was back in 1988!

  • Very cool!

  • Thanks, John!

  • Incredible! You have such deftness and economy of motion. Everything on your kit is within each reach. I've seen way too many drummers stretching for everything, and rushing back again. They look almost as if they are trying to subdue their kits, rather than allowing their kits to speak through them.

    Keep on keepin' on!

  • Awesome! Ya a feller AudioMan to boot!

  • hello, and wow that was amazing haha. Im just curious if you could share some of the sticking patterns that you and carl palmer use when doing drum solos. Im really trying to get a better idea of how he approached them. Thanks a lot.

  • I've allways liked the half dead carboard-ish sound of Carl's (and your's as well) stainless steel 10, 8 and 6 inch concert toms. Are you carl's younger brother?

  • Dude you make me want to play my ass off on my drums!!!!

  • Oh. My. God.
