  • stupid bean cutworm, murderd the corn.

  • Found some today in about 1 out of 5 ears. Light damage not much loss. To the north of us WBC caused mold in ears.

  • Were Pioneer dealers down here in Jackson County, MI. 36V53 was our top corn this year. It gave us our first 300 bushel yield (301.47) on our farm. We had a lot of 37Y14 over 200 dry. We also had very good luck with 36Y26. None of our 35F44 did much but a customer had a lot over 200. I found quite a bit of WBC in our area this year. Our test weights were down too. They were in the low 50's before drying.
