I totally agree with the last comment. However, if there is a resource for you to start writing and show if you have any depth, character, story, etc..., get to it for next year, because the craft matters a lot as well.

I applied to Boston University, Rochester Institute of Technology, and University at Buffalo. I got into all of those and am going to UB but switched my major to engineering. I realized I cared less about the story and more about figuring out how to do cool visual effects.

I got waitlisted. I realized after it was too late that I should have used less graphics-intensive stuff and more in depth storyline.

i have a question for you, aren't the sumbission videos suppose to be 2 mins long? cuz i think i read that on their website

It could be they changed it. As of last year it was 10 minutes.
