Rep. Henry Waxman on Healthcare Reform, the Waxman-Markey Climate Change Bill and the Expanding Role of Private Contractors in the Battlefield
Since President Obamas inauguration, two of the Democrats key legislative priorities have made significant advances in Congress. In June, the House passed a landmark climate bill that would impose the nations first-ever congressionally mandated emissions cuts. And following weeks of intensive negotiations, the House on Friday cleared the way for a September vote on legislation to alter the nations healthcare system. Today we spend the hour with one of the most influential members of Congress who has played a key role in the debate over climate change and healthcare, among many other issues. Democratic Congress member Henry Waxman has represented Californias 30th congressional district for nearly thirty-five years. As chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, he oversaw the talks that led to the panels approval of healthcare legislation, clearing the way for a full House vote when lawmakers return in September. Our brave warriors fight the insurgents and their insurgency yet in reality, the hapless citizens of Iraq pose no more resistance than the gangs of Detroit pose to Michigan's governor (whomever the schlub is).

Dr Miskolczi showed that the solution to a differential equation for the greenhouse effect developed in 1922 by Arthur Milne, wrongly assumed an infinitely thick atmosphere. In re-solving this equation a new term and also a new law of physics have been proposed setting an upper limit to the greenhouse effect. Dr Miskolczis theory indicates that any warming from elevated atmospheric carbon dioxide will eventually be offset by a change in atmospheric moisture content.

Waxman @6:10 starts talking about global warming as if he had a clue.
From an interview on NPR as relayed by Tavis Smiley: Waxman: Were seeing the reality of a lot of the North Pole starting to evaporate, and we could get to a tipping point. Because if it evaporates to a certain point they have lanes now where ships can go that couldnt ever sail through before. And if it gets to a point where it evaporates too much, theres a lot of tundra thats being held down by that ice cap..

That dudes needs a nose job in the worst possible way. Unless he really wants to look like porky pig and have people looking up at his snots? He looks like Twilight zone episode where the people wear the masks and their faces stay that way.
