Hagler had already lost a step and threw slower combos at this point in his career. I liked Ray better but Hagler in his prime would've busted Leonard up. He was just naturally bigger than Ray too. People forget how good of a boxer Marvelous once was, not just the slugger we saw the last five or six he fought.

SUGAR RAY won that round and the entire fight. How you're going let a man with less activity than you go the full 12? Hagler should had Ko'd him within 3 round. but, he was trying to dance with a dancer. smh

Hagler is respected Leonard was KOed by Camacho once his" moving around " BS decreased. They were both past their prime in case you were going to say that.

Strike and move. Hagler fought like a neanderthal, his style is to go blow for blow, receiving hits and hoping to dish out big hits.

well, it looks like u got your premise wrong to beging with becuz you got them backwards. To begin with, how can anyone say Hagler was in his prime when this was his last fite? that totally didnt make sense. Hagler's "prime" was in 1982 when Leonard was chickening out of their fite. and excuse me but Hagler "very good" when he aced prime Hitman in 3 to Leonard's 14?

i jus wish we couldve seen Ray take on some good young fighterz with some fire. Not worn out, beat up haz beenz like Hagler, or passive lambz like Benitez who dont come to fight but come to look cute. Boxing dont need thoze kindz. if only Ray hadnt shrank back from Pryor face to face. Pryor had a lot of fire (like Norris)

I also like Nunn, he was slick N quick. Ray dont get the respect fighterz like Hagler N Pryor get

u mean "what was left of hagler", sloppy leftoverz. benitez was junk. and Tommy Hearns was 3 yrs from his peak, when Hagler got to him. its like comparing Joe Louis from the first N second Schmeling fight. so it was really Hagler who fought the best
