Today's timelapse takes us on a bike ride that sets out from Silver Lake as the lingering June gloom of Father's Day 2011 started to finally break up. From there I biked down to the Los Angeles River and for the first time traversed its East Bank, the far more rugged and less developed (or utilized) side of the waterway. Feeling very Lewis & Clarksian, I discovered much there to further increase my love for our misbegotten river — including an absolutely wonderful section of rushing whitewater.
If you've been on this side of the river, I'll be you know the spot's location. But if not and you're extra nice to me maybe one day I'll muster my dormant group ride organizational skills and show it to you.

@73CharlieBrown73 I've seen fish on several occasions in the Los Angeles River, and there are always people with fishing poles trying to catch some.

@lintonjoe1 The track is titled "GD Blues," by Garrick Davis. I'll post it on LA Creek Freak as well.
