  • Thanks so much for all of your comments.

  • What am I supposed to get out of this? Pardon my ignorance but if its something good I want to know.

  • @chadlerb There is no "supposed"... no right or wrong. It's music, sincerely sung. Does it speak to your heart? If so, wonderful, if not... fine... All the best, Eliana

  • you might want to add that the words were written by Hannah Szenes in the 1940's, and that this song is not mystical

nor has anything to do with antiquity.

  • @catman72 Thanks for your comment.

This piece, written by Hannah Szenes, I consider to be very mystical. This is my truth, my experience. And I honor other opinions. To each his and her own :-)!

  • thank you.

  • You are welcome. The good is growing here in the Middle East.

  • thanks for this one

  • @musicpeace This must be what the prophets spoke of as a meditation technique according to Aryeh Kaplan in his book on Meditation. Vanessa Palomo, sings Ladino tunes in this way. Thank you for helping me connect the dots.

So, if you can sing a modern song, EliEli, then any song, scripture, tehilia can be adapted to this meditation/singing technique. A wonderful example of how to apply music to anything you want to meditate. Thank you for showing this.

  • Could be used to keep ships away from the rocks or cats from the vegetable patch.

  • Beautiful piece.

  • @musicpeace מקסים!!!!

  • Thank you very much for uploading. I could listen to this for hours and hours! Do you know the website named rainymood? It contains half an hour of recorded rain sound which you can have playing in the background. I wish there were something similar for ancient drum music :)

  • Looks like a bodhran.

  • @musicpeace It's very peaceful. I think is how music was created by God to be like originally or something like this at least. Forgive me if I am being too intrusive but I am interested to see what your beliefs are about God, if you don't mind sharing. Thanks!
