Gary Vaynerchuk NYC Streets Keynote

I couldn’t make it out tonight to see Gary Vaynerchuk speak but someone shared video. It turns out there was a snafu with who was supposed to pay the bar owners or something like that, so Gary, being the hustler he is, invites everyone outside and delivers a great keynote on social media and opportunity in the coming months. I recognize some people from Mashable and Affiliate Summit in the audience. For those that don’t know him, he’s build a 50 million dollar wine business and is an intuitive genius in video , social media, and internet marketing.

I do disagree that advertisers just want eyeballs as he says. I’ve been inside advertising campaign war rooms and they are looking for a lot more. He does offer some good knowledge and motivation for anyone looking to get their brand out there.

This hard to see video is actually one of my favorites, because this night was amazing - I watched it play out live from afar on Twitter. Garyvee had issues inside this club, where he was supposed to speak, and they did not accommodate him strangely. So he took his fans outside and held this conversational keynote on the curb in the rain. I guarantee everyone there will never forget it. This is one of many reasons I adore Garyvee!
