Night
Rising Dragon Falls

This is Act II of the Dragon Road night stages in Sonic Unleashed. It's named for the latter part of this stage. The gratuitous axe pendulums look pretty silly, being in a path through a bamboo forest. I've yet to walk through a park where axe pendulums swing through the walkways.

The Rising Dragon Falls themselves are pretty annoying if you mess up, as you fall to an earlier part. It's also stupid sometimes in that you can't always see the path coming up next, especially when it involves the Dark Bats flying considerable distances. Sonic just hangs at the end of a pole, at seemingly a dead end. There needs to be an indicator.

Overall, this is one of the longer night stages in the game. It's not as crazy long as some of the night stages in the 360/PS3 version, but it can really test your endurance if you mess up.

  • how did you get that many lives? i'm in the Adabat boss stage and i only have two lives

  • @stuffofstuff1 You find them in the Gaia Gates. Inside some of the rooms are 1-Up Monitors, which permanently increase the number of lives you have when you start a stage.

  • This seems to be one of the fan favourites amoung the Wii Werehog stages.

  • It is? It's because there are only two fights in the whole place, huh?

  • @Overhazard You fell into a water at 3:09 but you made with a Double Jump. That was close for you.

  • Do you think it's odd when Sonic jumps off the cliff he still walks?

  • the music doesn't go ahead while your fighting instead it stops then goes on a while after the fight in case you go to another one.

  • Gotta love the music for this one! No? That's one of the few reasons I love this place, at night, go through this stage, & you'll have a peaceful memory about this stage, even if you messed up a bunch off times & got ticked off.

  • Maybe this park has vandalism problems!

Just like Apotos has crime problems!

  • This stage was annoying when I played it, but I hated the whirlpool stage more than anything. I'm very impatient sometimes, so stages like this can be bothersome.

  • That 's a really annoying stage. I had 2 or 3 Game Overs mainly because of my not being used to the controls...
