cow is your second mother In the Hindu world view, to give cow charity or go-daana is considered the highest and honorable act. But if you cannot afford to give a cow in charity, you can certainly feed one. When we are young we survive with mother's milk. then on wards we survive and depend upon cows milk - till we breathe the last. are we not grateful for it . Do we care for them????
Many cows which are to be slaughtered are saved and protected in Neelavaram ,UDUPI,Karnataka by Govardhanagiri Trust Udupi 576101.
There 700 cows which are aged and neglected are saved with care.
