Beautiful, this is. A breathtaking song with distinct Nordic influences (the lyrics are about a couple fleeing their mountain village). Possibly my biggest favourite in a very strong year, and one of my favourite Swedish entries in the contest.

@NKismynextgoal now it is yeah, don't know how it was back then, but Benny and Christina divorced sometime in the 60-70s since he married Anni-Frid 1978 and when the parents are divorced the children can choose what surname they want and Peter obviously chose his mother's

but i for ex have a half brother that has my mother's maiden name even tho the father acknowledged him, but they were never married, like she is to my father and we have his name.

Is that allowed in Sweden? Can you choose for family names?

Here you can only have your mother's name if you are a 'natural child'. That's a child born out of wedlock and not acknowledged by the father.

jag älskar den här låten så otroligt mycket.. just nu när jag var deppig hörde jag den här låten och jag... den går inte beskriva med annat än den var så vacker att man fick tårar.. jag var ännu inte född när den här låten gjordes men jag älskar den ändå. Önskar att dom fortfarande spelade sån här riktig musik på radion, har aldrig fått uppleva det. :)
