Funny story about moleskin notebook. This past summer I was traveling around Europe with my friend, and she got robbed in Spain. She lost her wallet, cell phone, credit cards... all except her moleskin notebook. It contained our flight info, notes on countries, phone numbers... basically the moleskin notebook saved our asses!

@Madcas23 A part of his ear. And he was also a fantastic artist who was not appreciated during his time. Obviously, never selling any art got to him emotionally.

@hossrex Oh yes, because implying that it's stupid and 'flat out wrong' to pronounce it otherwise is not rude at all. But I saw your channel and your profile comments (which explained so much) and I'm not even going to bother arguing anymore.

I didn't insult her. I didn't make fun of her. Look at the initial comment you dolt. I simply say how it's actually pronounced... and yes... like most words... there *IS* a correct way to pronounce it (it astounds me that you're actually arguing that point).
Of course no one "really cares"... are you SO stupid that you think just because I help someone by giving the correct pronunciation, that I *REALLY* care?
How could you be so stupid as to think that?

@hossrex um it could've included the pronunciation the way dictionaries set them out? there are ways besides "you're stupid". i dont think anybody really cares how people say it, the point is that this video was cool and everybody should just pronounce it how they personally prefer.

lol... not only did it previously say specifically how it was pronounced... but.. what would you expect it to say? "It's pronounced 'Mole-uh-skeena', and if you say it otherwise you're stupid"?
They don't care how people pronounce it as long as they buy the books, and they don't want to upset people who pronounce it differently.
It's pronounced "Mole-uh-skeena", and to say otherwise it either playing semantics, or... just flat out wrong.

@hossrex Actually, the official Moleskine website says: "Moleskine® is a brand name with undefined national identity. And that's the way we like it. Everyone should feel free to pronounce it as he/she prefers."
