I love this more rock sounding version and da fly girls! Too bad it didn't record all the way thorough, not to mention it was a camcorder bootleg. Would love to see her and da honey girls in a live DVD concert.

Stoned Soul Picnic is most definitely written by the late Laura Nyro - it's attributed to her on the 5th Dimension album my parents have.

Noooooo, sweet pea---Laura Nyro Wrote Stoned Soul Picnic. It one of her most famous compositions, and has been covered by everyone from the 5th Dimension to Frank Sinatra, lol.
