@paideguinha When something is moving we say it has kenetic energy, when that kenetic energy transfers to another object, weather by slowing it down or slaming it into something, we call that energy transfer "Momentum Energy". As you flip the cup towards the table, the cup has kenetic energy, when the cup hits the table some of the energy is going to get transfered into the table, but becuz the table is hard its puts most of the energy back into the cup, which transfers the energy to the water.
