PSB (3 of 13) - Suburbia (Club Vocal Mix)

In 1986 Julian Mendelsohn was in charge of the re-recording of "Suburbia". The full length version from that session (The Full Horror) was released on 12" and cassette single before being included on the first 'Disco' album.
The 7" is an alternate version of the first four minutes of The Full Horror. The video version combines The Full Horror mix until the end of the saxophone solo with the new 7" mix. Suburbia (Part Two) fades in where the 7" fades out and continues with 'The Full Horror' before an early fade out.

Arthur Baker was then brought in to remix the track to be issued as a promo only for the U.S.A., and the 'Club Vocal Mix' is the a-side.

I don't think these mixes were released commercially in the U.S. or pressings made in any other country.

Humm nothing that wasn't already on CD apart fron the odd 1 or 2 mixes! : ) Anyway, do you have a very rare american promo of Love Comes Quickly? It has a similar sleeve to this Suburbia promo. Contains unreleased mixes. Cheers again.

Yes he does. I think side A is the mix from Disco (1) and B is a dub version.

Suburbia is my all-time favourite song so it is great to hear other mixes of the original. Thanks for the post.
