Colin Tyler "What Ails Me" LIVE Music Video HQ

I will be releasing a four song Live Studio Video Recording beginning on Thursday, April 7th! One song and corresponding video will be released to the public through YouTube every week for the entire month of April.

On March 10th, 2011 I gathered my band and some good friends and headed into the studio. Armed with five HD video cameras, we recorded these four songs 100% live in one take. The tracks are unedited and the vocals are not auto-tuned. My goal as an artist is to ONLY make live recordings. I want my recordings to feel like they do when I play shows and I can't seem to attain that when making recordings the standard way. I believe music isn't supposed to be perfect, it's supposed to be honest. That is why I don't edit the tracks after they are recorded. I'm not a perfect person nor a perfect singer and I think my music should reflect that. I also believe that actually seeing the performance is an integral part of music, which is why I added the video aspect to the EP.
