Very interesting video ... but I would have said that science, as we know it today, was rather born during the Enlightenment, not the Renaissance, as the Professor claims.

So connecting with what Kuhn has stressed (paradigm shift), in advance it is impossible to see. Only afterwards. This is called belief. Prevailing science, when someone says: all can be done better and easier, and it can be explained why, without belief they dont get it. Then what is the next gear bringing all previous on the road further, is like a missing corner stone. Knowing the value,one will only be prepared to give it away to those who belief, not in those who only belief when they see
